Abstract
Digerbergs gruvor are located in skarn-banded magnetite ore which is syngenetic with the metavolcanic host rock. Later hydrothermal mineral parageneses include pitchblende, chalcopyrite, bornite, digenite, wittichenite and selenian galena. Several occurrences nearby also demonstrate the importance of hydrothermal mineralization processes in the area. Digerbergs gruvor is one of the rare Swedish occurrences of wittichenite.
