Abstract
Three closely related members of the Nordenskiöld family have had the extraordinary luck to be involved with meteorites: (1) Nils Nordenskiöld with Luotolax which fell in 1813; (2) Adolf Erik Nordenskiöld with Hessle, which fell in 1869, and other meteorites; (3) Hedda Nordenskiöld who found Ultuna in 1942. Possibly, these three closely related persons represent a unique case.
