Abstract
Some taxonomical, biological and ecological notes for Arrhenocoela lineata are reported, and the systematic position of the genus Arrhenocoela is discussed. The complete descriptions of the egg and the first‐instar larva are also given. Line drawings and scanning electron micrographs of particular morphological aspects for both the adult and the larva are also provided.
