Abstract

Contribution to the knowledge of the mechanism of light energy conversion into chemical energy during the photosinthetic process. — A general scheme for the pathways of electron transport in chloroplasts is discussed, in the light of the recent evidence for the existence of cyclic photophosphorylation in vivo. The possible function of cytochrome f is discussed.
