Abstract
A new hypothesis about the significance of alkaloids in natural sclerotia of CLAVICEPS PASPALI Stev. et Hall. — On the basis of data obtained in Italy about the increasing spread of Paspalum distichum L. var. paspalodes Thell. a new hypothesis is suggested on the significance of the presence of alkaloids in natural sclerotia of Claviceps paspali Stev. et Hall.
