Abstract

The relation of man to the environment, which is determining all kinds of human interactions is not defined only biologically. During periods of human development the relationship is affected by psychological, sociological and historical-social factors, thus determining the form and the content of the basic activities of man and humanity as a society. From this point of view it seems necessary to describe all environmental bonds by the available methodological approach of cultural anthropology, including various sociological aspects. The table presented emphasizes the historical determinants in the relation of man to the enviroment. The discussion of the data presented in the table is the main purpose of this paper.
