Abstract
Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin province is the largest settlement of Chinese Koreans in China. The floating population surveillance survey conducted by the National Population and Family Planning Commission in 2011 suggested that 47 percent of Chinese Korean out-migrants are women. The results of our binary logistic regression show that married women aged 20–59, with higher educational levels and agricultural household registration status, are more likely to migrate. A multinomial logistic regression indicates that household category does not play a significant role in out-migration. Furthermore, women aged between 20 and 59 with higher educational levels are more likely to choose South Korea as their destination, while married women and women with no formal education are more likely to move to other provinces in China. This paper also discusses the social and economic impact of out-migration (of Chinese Korean females) on the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture.

吉林省延边朝鲜族自治州是中国最大的朝鲜族聚居地。2011年中国国 家人口计生委流动人口及其影响因素监测数据显示中国朝鲜族迁出人 口中有百分之四十七的迁出者是女性人口。二分类回归分析结果显示 20–59岁已婚的、受教育程度较高的和农业户口的女性更倾向于选择迁 移。多分类回归分析结果显示户籍性质对迁出的影响不显著。受教育 程度较高的20-59岁女性更愿意将韩国作为他们的迁出目的地，而已婚 的女性和教育程度较低的女性则更倾向于选择中国国内省际迁移。本 文最后还讨论了中国朝鲜族女性迁出对当地的社会经济影响。
