Hair morphology in Plantago L. sect. Microcalyx Pilger (Plantaginaceae)

Summary

This paper is the continuation of the investigation of hairs in representatives of various sections of the genus Plantago L. It deals with a taxon, Plantago masonae Cheesem. (section Microcalyx Pilger), which has not been investigated yet with respect to the hairs. The presence of two types of headed hairs and two types of headless hairs was observed.

Résumé

Cette contribution est une continuation des études des trichomes entreprises chez des représentants de différentes sections du genre Plantago. Elle concerne le Plantago masonae Cheesem. (section Microcalyx Pilger) dont les trichomes n'avaient pas encore été examinés jusqu'à présent. On a observé deux types de poils sécréteurs et deux types de poils tecteurs.
