La végétation des clairières sur sol hydromorphe dans le massif forestier du nord—est du Gabon: premières études sur la clairière de Mékandjé (parc national de l'Ivindo)

Abstract

This work constitutes a first study on the flora and the vegetation of the intra—forest clearings on hydromorphic soils of the Gabon. It analyzes the floral composition, brings to light the main plant communities and the species which characterize them. An analysis of environmental structural factors is then realized to characterize these communities. The flora is dominated by Cyperaceae and the vegetation is a watery semi-meadow. Two principal communities are identified. The main factors which influence the flora are the rate water in the ground, the depth of the mud and, in a lesser measure, an animal attendance.

Résumé

Ce travail constitue une première étude sur la flore et la végétation des clairières intraforestières sur sol hydromorphe du Gabon. Il analyse la composition floristique, met en évidence les principales unités de végétation et les espèces qui les caractérisent. Une analyse des facteurs mésologiques et structuraux est ensuite réalisée afin de caractériser ces unités de végétation. La flore est dominée par des Cyperaceae et la végétation est une prairie semi-aquatique. Deux groupements principaux sont identifiés. Les principaux facteurs qui influencent la flore sont l'hydromorphie du sol, la profondeur de la vase et, dans une moindre mesure, la fréquentation animale.
