Mechanical Properties of Four High-Performance Concretes in Compression at High Temperatures

ABSTRACT

Experimental results of the high-temperature behaviour of 4 High-Performance Concretes are presented. The main properties needed for design are synthesised; this relates to the evolution of compressive strength and Young's modulus versus temperature. The phenomenon of transient creep at high temperature is also presented. Experimental data and a master curve usable for design are developed.

RÉSUMÉ

Les résultats d'essais à haute température concernant 4 Bétons à Hautes Performances sont présentés. Les propriétés nécessaires à la conception des structures sont synthétisées. Ces propriétés incluent l'évolution de la résistance à la compression et du module d'Young en fonction de la température. Le comportement de fluage thermique transitoire est présenté. Des résultats expérimentaux et une courbe maîtresse utilisable pour le calcul sont présentés.
