ABSTRACT

The aim of our work is to elaborate a tool to be used by the geotechnical engineer to define the lithology of the site and assess the mechanical characteristics of the soil by combining instantaneous diagraphies and pressuremeter tests. We propose to explain the methodology developed: the first step allows us to define the lithology presented like a log of probabilities generated from the diagraphic signals; the second stage enables us to generate pressuremetric values from instantaneous diagraphies and correlation calculated for each kind of material.
