ABSTRACT

Expression stability of marker gene nptll in transgenic tobacco plants, Nicotiana tobacum L., line SRI with single transgenic insertion was being investigated. Stable expression of gene nptll has been shown in the first (T₁) and second (T₂) generations from the selfing of plants under study and in F₁ when crossing plants T₁ homozygous on the transgene. Deviations from the theoretically expected segregation were registered in F₂ at 18%.
