ABSTRACT

RAPD, AP-PCR, IFLP, SSR and isozymes markers were used to characterize high and low regenerative beckcross lines and their parents—Helianthus eggertii and Helianthus annuus. Thirty—eight markers specific to Helianthus eggertii were developed. Applying data from DNA and isozymes analysis was studded relationships among lines using generated dendrogram by neighbor-joining method. The results demonstrated a possibility to using the dendrogram as methodology for early estimation of advantageous genotypes in plant selection for high regeneration potential.
