Determination the Reaction of the Tobacco types Toward Infestation of Blue Mould (Peronospora Tabacina Adam) and Pathogen Combating

ABSTRACT

The reaction towards blue mould infestation of six tobacco sorts—two of each of the three tobacco types (Oriental, Virgin and Burley) cultivated in Bulgaria, was tested. The efficacy of some of the most used contemporary fungicides for blue mould combating was examined. The reaction of the different tobacco types towards tobacco blue mould and the efficacy of some fungicides against the disease were determined as a result of the examination.
