Abstract

Survey work carried out in the Mascarene Islands of Réunion, Mauritius and Rodrigues in the S.W Indian Ocean over the last 10 years have yielded at least 14 new species, 9 of which are described here:- Assimineidae: Omphalotropis stevanovitchi; Pomatiasidae: Tropidophora vincentflorensi; Helicarionidae: Ctenophila aigretteianum; Erepta wendystrahmi; Pachystyla waynepagei; Dupontia affouchensis; Streptaxida : Gonospira jacobsi; Gulella mamellensis: Gulella argoudi.
