Mark Zborowski, the spy who came out of the ShtetlFootnote

Pages 119-128 | Published online: 19 Jun 2008

Notes

I am preparing a more comprehensive account of Mark Zborowski's life which will include my interview with his widow, Regina Levy Zborowski, and Zborowski's letters (some under his pseudonym ‘Etienne'), as well as those of his contacts in the Boris Nicolayevsky Collection at the Hoover Institutions on War, Revolution and Peace of Stanford University. I dedicate this article to the memory of a dear friend, Dr Bill Mandel, who provided valuable information on Zborowski and encouraged me to write about him.
