Does globalization matter to income distribution in Asia?

Abstract

This study attempts to examine the impact of globalization on the income inequality in Asia. The pooled regression results covering eight Asian countries over the period 1970 to 2002, show the regular-U shape with globalization variables. It gives a policy implication for growth, equity, and globalization in Asia.
