Biased and neutral technological change: empirical evidence from a sample of OECD countries

 

ABSTRACT

Using data from the KLEMS database for 12 capitalist countries, pertaining to years 1973–2005, we show that the direction, the composition, and the effects on productivity of technological changes vary considerably across space and time.
