1. Heterodox interpretations of Marxism like the work of the PRAXIS group in Yugoslavia in the 1960s and the early 1970s faced substantial suppression, as did the Hungarian group around Andras Hegedüs, Agnes Heller, Ferenc Feher, and Andras Szelenyi.
