The article “Heritage and rural gentrification in Spain: the case of Santiago Millas” by Pablo Alonso González (Vol. 23, No. 2, pp. 125–140; DOI: https://doi.org/10.1080/13527258.2016.1246468) should have been published as a part of a special issue “Heritage, Gentrification, Participation: Remaking Urban Landscapes in the Name of Culture and Historic Preservation” (Guest Edited by Chiara De Cesari and Rozita Dimova). It was intended to be published in Vol. 25 No. 9, but instead was published in an earlier issue, Vol. 23 No. 2. Therefore, the Introduction piece has been amended accordingly by the addition of an endnote (“Pablo Alonso González’ article, the first of this special issue to be published online, appeared in hard copy in 2017 in volume 23(2). Throughout the process of putting this special issue together, however, this article was conceived as part of our project and is addressed in the introduction and the commentaries.”) and an updated reference (“Alonso González, P. 2017. “Heritage and rural gentrification in Spain: the case of Santiago Millas”. International Journal of Heritage Studies 23(2): 125-140. doi: 10.1080/13527258.2016.1246468”).
The following corrections have also been made to the above Introduction:
Page 3, second paragraph: The sentence “This special issue was born out of two panels we organised at the 2012 and 2016 European Association of Social Anthropology (EASA) meetings.” has been changed to “This special issue was born out of two panels we organised at the 2012 European Association of Social Anthropology (EASA) meeting and at the 2015 International Society for Ethnology and Folklore (SIEF) congress.”.
Page 3, third paragraph: The sentence “At the 2016 EASA meeting in Milan, we revisited the topic of the production of urban space by zooming in on the processes of heritage and gentrification.” has been changed to “At the 2015 SIEF meeting in Zagreb, we revisited the topic of the production of urban space by zooming in on the processes of heritage and gentrification.”.
Further additional minor changes have been made. These changes do not impact the academic content of the article.
