A European Student Perspective on Quality

Pages 67-75 | Published online: 07 Jul 2006

Abstract

The paper argues that the quality of education is important to students and that, furthermore, students should be treated as full partners in both the definition and assessment of quality. The argument considers why students should be involved and why they are interested in quality? The current debate at the European level is examined to see whether it lives up to the expectations of students and whether there are examples of good practice.
