Abstract

Osgood-Schlatter Disease (OSD) is a common cause of knee pain in active young adolescents, especially boys. First described in 1903 by Osgood26 in the USA and three months later by Schlatter29 in Germany, it has been receiving increasing attention in the medical literature in recent years.
