Assessing the Learning Experience: University Students Evaluate Videotapes

Abstract

The introduction of CCTV has not always been accompanied by an innovation in educational method. All too often it has been used to spread traditional teaching. Furthermore, much research into the use of television has been ineffective. This article outlines a current project with the following aims:

compare students’ perceptions with lecturers’ objectives

roman

design tests for evaluating learning

roman

develop guide‐lines for tertiary education.
