The Thomson Foundation Television College

Abstract

This article describes the Television College established by the Thomson Foundation and the courses of training offered there for producers and engineers. The method of teaching producers is of particular interest as the formal lecture has been replaced by various forms of demonstration involving student participation and production exercises involving teamwork.
