Dissemination and Diffusion of a Technology Syllabus

Abstract

A modular course in technology was developed in the UK for 14‐ to 16‐year‐olds in the top third of the ability range. The course was designed to be used in a variety of forms. The case study identifies the development phase on a regional basis and the use of regional bases for the dissemination phase too, using available agencies such as Science and Technology Regional Organizations (SATROs) and teacher centres.
