Development of a Rule‐Based System to Meet the Employment and Training Needs of Deaf People

Abstract

This paper describes a project funded by the Training Agency with the major objective of developing a rule‐based system which would provide information to deaf people about information technology‐based jobs and relevant training. The background to the work is outlined briefly and some of the lessons learned are discussed.
