Abstract
The successful implementation of teletraining systems requires organizations to examine their current training needs and procedures, and then develop strategies for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of their training orgnaizations. The purpose of this article is to provide sufficient information for change agents to achieve a working knowledge of training concepts and an understanding of how these concepts can be related to teletraining. The author describes how change agents can identify training needs, introduce teletraining as a potential solution, influence staff adoption and implement changes in training programs. The author used these concepts to implement a large nationwide teletraining system which is described.
