The effect of cereal-pulse mix supplementation on glycaemic and lipaemic control was studied in 30 non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus patients. The results indicated that supplementation of a cereal-pulse mix for 1 or 2 months had a favourable effect in controlling hyperglycaemia and hyperlipidaemia.
