Chris Hesselbein
Chris Hesselbein ([email protected]) is a PhD candidate in the department of Science and Technology Studies (STS) at Cornell University. Their dissertation focuses on the relationship between high-heeled footwear, feminine comportment, and discourses of fashion, comfort, and confidence. More broadly, Chris is also interested in affect and embodiment in everyday experience as well as the relationship between emerging technologies and aesthetics.
