ABSTRACT

This exchange between Nabil Boudraa and Ahmed Bedjaoui covers several themes related to Algerian cinema. It starts from the beginnings of Algerian cinema and its role in the War of Liberation and ends with an analysis of contemporary issues in Algerian society, such as history, gender, censorship, migration and resistance.
