Hariri: Renewal and relative recovery

Pages 57-65 | Published online: 09 Nov 2007

This essay is a critical assessment of the progress achieved during the term of Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri. The argument being developed here suggests that the improvements and recovery which have been secured to Lebanon thus far is, in probability, due to the factor of peace and the character and assets of the Lebanese people rather than the economic plans of Hariri.
