SELF‐ESTEEM GROUPS AT THE ELEANOR SMITH SCHOOL AND PRIMARY SUPPORT SERVICE

Abstract

This article describes the work of an initiative designed to raise the self‐esteem of children of primary school age who exhibit Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. The theoretical underpinnings and ethos of the project are described. The remainder of the article deals with the description of the group work strategies that are employed to meet the aims of the project.
