Abstract
The next issue of Pediatric Rehabilitation will mark the Journal's change in editors. The founding editor, Henry Stonnington, is to be congratulated and thanked for his efforts in bringing this important venture to fruition. We now have a new editorial board of clinical and academic experts in a wide range of disciplines from around the world. The Journal will encompass current practice and new developments in research and service delivery, together with historical, theoretical, ethical and legal perspectives, covering a wide range of animal and human fields. Our aim is to stimulate greater interdisciplinary understanding and collaboration in theory, research and practice, leading to the design and implementation of effective interventions for all childhood disorders. We seek to avoid any unidirectional flow of information and to dispel any ''Cinderella'' image of rehabilitation in pediatrics [1].
