Investigation of the decomposition kinetics of the alloy Cu2·00Mn1·00Al1·00 by means of electrical resistance measurement

Abstract

The decomposition kinetics of the alloy Cu2·00Mn1·00Al1·00 at temperatures between 663 and 873 K have been studied by means of measurements of the time dependence of electrical resistance under isothermal conditions. Numerical analysis of the experimental results reveals two precipitation mechanisms, the empirical activation energies of which are estimated.
