Abstract

Raman experiments have been performed on flash-evaporated amorphous GaSb films containing an excess of Sb with respect to stoichiometry. The spectra are analysed as a function of composition, and assignments are proposed for the observed features. The interpretation is confirmed by the polarization properties of the spectra and by the modifications taking place on crystallization.
