Abstract
In this paper, experimental results concerning the measurement of the viscosity field H v, acting on the Bloch walls in the amorphous alloys Metglas 2605 SC and CO are presented. Measurements were done at different temperatures in the range 20 – 250°C and cover about four decades of time intervals, from 10−3 to 8 s. Values of H v up to 3·5 Am−1 have been obtained at the highest temperature.
The set of curves of H v against time are relative to reversible diffusional processes and are intended to be used for an accurate testing of the theories of the after-effect phenomena in amorphous ferromagnets.
