Disorder configurations from vibrational structure in AI_xGa_1−x,As systems

Abstract

In this work we show that mixed-crystal vibrations pertaining to Al_xGa_1−xAs regions with different x provide nearly independent contributions in the calculated back-scattering Raman spectra of Al_xGa_1−x As superlattices and modulated alloys. This feature indicates that a dynamical characterization of the A1 distribution in these heterostructures is at hand.
