Abstract
A consistent theoretical interpretation of experimental results on a quantum dot embedded in an Aharanov-Bohm ring in the Coulomb blockade regime is possible under the assumption that all resonances seen behave similarly. Deformation of the quantum dot under the influence of the plunger gate voltage is offered as a possible cause for this similarity.
