Comment on the analysis of magnetoreflectance experiments at the E₁ edge of InSb and other materials

Abstract

New features of experimental magneto-optical differential reflectance are identified using well documented models from the quantum theory of solids. Although previously not applied in this manner, we give justification in terms of making an experiment on the semiconductor InSb and theory agree. New magnetoreflectance experiments are proposed to confirm (or revise) the point of view that is expressed.
