&
Pages 239-253 | Published online: 19 Dec 2006

Abstract

Drawing on interview data from 18 Registered Inspectors, the article examines their perceptions of their role, particularly their perception of how school inspection can contribute to improvement. Finally some consideration is given to how CPD might contribute to school improvement by helping schools to plan to meet Key Issues
