Beginning the journey

Pages 207-220 | Published online: 28 Jul 2006

Abstract

The model for ‘Responsible Leadership for Performance’ represents a unique perspective on sustainable leadership. The core contribution of this effort is the integration of the ‘personal characteristics’ view of leaders at the top and the ‘performance/systems’ view of the complexity of the organization, along with the recognition that leadership requires willing followership.
