Burgeoning importance of good governance and easy access to tourist destination has escalated influence on tourist decision to choose a place to visit. Using Structure Equation modelling for data from 10 districts of Gilgit-Baltistan for mediation analysis, we found that governance has a strong and significant direct as well as indirect impact on the tourism industry.
