Pages 151-154 | Published online: 22 Mar 2010

Notes

Information, Communication & Society is the official journal of ‘CITASA’: the Communication and Information Technologies section of the American Sociological Association. This section presents revised versions of papers originally presented at the ASA's annual meeting, Boston, August 2008. My thanks to section co-editor Christena Nippert-Eng, Associate Editors Julie Amoroso, Jessica Collins and Jennifer Kayahara; Assistant Editor Sinye Tang; and to ICS editor Brian Loader for facilitating this special section. ICS also publishes a special CITASA issue in the year following each annual meeting. This introduction's title is an homage to my mentor, Charles Tilly Citation(1986).
