Anne-Kathrin Hoklas is a research assistant at the DFG-funded research project ‘ “Time has come today” ’. Special time patterns of pop-musical chronotopes and their impact on the temporal differentiation of lifeworlds since the 1960s' at the Department of Sociology at Technische Universität Dresden. She previously worked in the research project ‘Music and Media Survey. Empirical basic data and theoretical modelling of the mediatization of everyday music reception in Germany’ at Audio Communication Group, Technische Universität Berlin. In her dissertation she studies generation-specific music listening practices in Germany. Research interests: Cultural Sociology, Media Sociology, Praxeological Sociology of Knowledge, Qualitative Methods. [e-mail: [email protected]]
