Dar Kartą Apie Sostinės „Architektūrines Kalvas“

Aptariamas naujos architekturos, auks˘tybiniu pastatu kontekstas. Is˘keliamas klausimas – ar nepažeidžiama Vilniaus miesto gamtine ir urbanistine-architekturine (antropogenine) struktura, miesto siluetas, panoramos, gamtos ir urbanizuotu teritoriju, senosios ir naujosios architekturos darna. Teigiama, kad miesto siluetas ir panoramos keiciasi ir neimanoma is˘laikyti buvusios padeties, is˘saugoti istorinius miesto elementus kaip nepakitusias vertybes. Pateikiami ivairiu autoriu teiginiai s˘iuo klausimu. Tvirtinama, kad harmoningas kontekstas – pagrindinis s˘iuolaikines architekturos menines vertes kriterijus. Svarstoma, ar prarado aktualuma sovietmetyje suformuotos sostines kompozicines idejos – „architekturiniu kalvu“ – kurimo koncepcija.

Abstract

The problem of high-rise buildings in the capital of Vilnius is discussed. The question is whether the natural and urban-architectural structure of Vilnius city, its silhouetteand panorama, the harmony of urbanized and natural territories, of the old and new architecture are not disturbed. The author mantains that the city silhouette and panoramas change, and it is impossible to preserve the historic city elements as unchanged values. The statements of various specialists on this issue are presented in the paper. First of all it is said that a harmonious context is the main criterion of aesthetic architecture nowadays. The idea of the soviet period in Lithuania of creating the conception of “architectural hills“ is discussed.
