MARSH SANDPIPER (TRINGA STAGNATILIS): A NEW BREEDING SPECIES IN LITHUANIA

 

Summary

In the 1997 breeding season, Marsh Sandpipers were found at two sites in eastern Lithuania. Their behaviour indicated that breeding occurred at one site and was possible at the second. This is the first breeding record for Lithuania.
