Fauna of Orthocentrinae (S. S.) (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae) in Lithuania

Abstract

There is 61 species of Orthocentrinae subfamily ichneumonids (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae) registered in Lithuania, 35 of them being new for the Lithuanian fauna. The checklist of 61 species belonging to 10 genera is presented herein. The current article presents the following data on each of the above-mentioned species – the date and place of its locating, the number of collected specimens, the collector, the habitat, its hosts and distribution. Some peculiarities of the Orthocentrinae fauna structure, species density and diversity in various ecosystems, abundance and seasonal dynamics are discussed.
