Abstract
This interview was my second visit to the home of Marga de Bruijn, a mother, occupational therapist, and dedicated quilt‐maker. Marga has lived and worked in the North arolina communities of Durham and Chapel Hill most of her adult life, after growing up in The Netherlands. Her story is about transition and continuity, her adoption of quilt making as part of these transitions, and the growth of that occupation to become a central part of her life.
