Abstract
Our skill in observation is an essential prerequisite in order to practise a therapeutical profession. This leads us to the conclusion that we should consciously formulate observation as a method for occupational therapy. Training in observation should be an integral part of OT-education. Differentiated observation in practice can qualitatively improve the contribution of occupational therapy to rehabilitation.
