Pages 33-36 | Published online: 06 Oct 2016

Abstract

Tanzania is an exciting country in East Africa which is in the process of developing training for occupational therapists. The first step has been to develop a curriculum for the training and this has been promoted by the German Foundation for International Development in Germany. The occupational therapists working in Tanzania have been very active in providing a draft document on which invited guests from four African countries were able to work. The workshop took place in Moshi, Tanzania in January 1997.
